Miles of JB Corrie patent Dropper Fence has been used on the Railways of the UK for decades and continues to do so. The fence was and is popular with contractors wanting a simple to install, posts at 7.5m centres, and little to no maintenance required coupled with effective cost control shown in the low rate per metre for both material and labour to install the fence. The fence is an effective barrier to both human and animal trespass onto the railway environment.
